Born from a Love of Beauty and Permanence
Porcelain Petals began with a simple question: what if the most beautiful flowers could last forever? Not as dried arrangements or artificial replicas, but as genuine works of art?
Our founders spent years studying under master porcelain artisans in Jingdezhen, China, the porcelain capital of the world. There, they learned techniques that have been refined over a thousand years: how to shape petals so thin they're nearly translucent, how to mix glazes that capture the exact hue of a petal catching morning light.
Each Porcelain Petals stem takes between three and seven days to complete. The process begins with raw bone porcelain, which is shaped, carved, and refined by hand. Individual petals are formed one at a time, then assembled while still soft enough to curve into natural positions. After an initial firing, each piece is glazed, often in multiple layers, and fired again at temperatures exceeding 1,200°C.
The result is a flower that captures all the delicacy and beauty of nature, with none of its impermanence. A piece that will be passed down through generations.
What We Believe
Artisan Craft
Every stem is shaped entirely by hand, with no molds and no mass production. Each piece carries the subtle imperfections that mark genuine craftsmanship.
Timeless Materials
We use only the finest bone porcelain, fired at temperatures that create extraordinary strength and translucency. Finished with lead-free glazes in rich, lasting colors.
Enduring Beauty
Unlike fresh flowers, our pieces will look exactly as beautiful in fifty years as they do today. A gift that truly lasts forever.
